  1. A countdown timer will be displayed at the top right corner of the screen.
  2. Only one question will be displayed on the computer screen at a time.
  3. Each question will have 4 options.
  4. Each question will be of 3 marks which will be displayed at the top right hand side of each question.
  6. The questions can be answered in any order.
  7. For test code 101, a separate minimum of 10 marks is required for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (10 marks each) for inclusion in the rank list (Except for Kerala SC/ST).
  8. Queries or doubts will not be entertained after the commencement of the examination.
  9. Rough work is to be done only on the rough sheets provided at the exam venue. Candidates should write their Roll No. on the sheets and return to the invigilator before leaving the test venue.


  1. In order to answer a question, "click" the option you consider as appropriate / correct. The option which has been clicked on will be highlighted and shall be treated as the answer given by you for the question.
  2. You can navigate between questions either by clicking on 'Previous'/'Next' or by directly clicking on the question numbers which are displayed as attempted/ not-attempted / bookmarked in the Section-wise Summary panel.
  3. lf you do not wish to attempt a question, you should not click on any option for that question and you may select another question.
  4. You can 'Bookmark' any question to review before submitting.


  1. The answers are saved whenever the candidate navigates to another question.
  2. 'Finish' button has to be clicked at the end of the test. No changes in the answers can be made once the finish button has been clicked.
  3. Candidate can switch to any of the questions by clicking on the summary panel shown at the left hand side of the screen. For example: Attempted questions, Not attempted questions, Attempted and bookmarked, Not attempted and bookmarked.
  4. After the expiry of scheduled time the candidates will not be able to attempt any question or check their answers. The answers of the candidate, including "attempted and bookmarked" will be saved automatically even if he/she has not clicked the "Finish" button.

Candidates can be debarred/ disqualified by the Chief Superintendent of the Exam Centre for any of the following reasons:

  1. Any conversation or gesticulation or disturbance or attempt to change seats/question paper in the Examination Hall shall be deemed as unfair means.
  2. Impersonation - Attempting to attend the examination in place of another person.
  3. Giving or receiving any assistance/communication in any form between candidates or with outsiders during the examination.
  4. Smoking or eating in the Examination Hall.
  5. Attempting to tamper with the operation of the computer or meddling with system.
  6. Leaving the test centre without the permission of the invigilator.
  7. Using prohibited items such as cell phones, Pagers, Pieces of Paper (except his/her Admit Card, identity Card and rough sheet), Digital diaries, any other electronic gadgets/device, Watch alarms, Listening devices and recording or photographic devices.
  8. Attempting to copy examination related contents.
  9. Attempting to access any unauthorized software / program during the examination.
  10. Failing to follow invigilators' directions.
  11. Manhandling of invigilators or test centre staff or other candidates.
  12. Any suspicious act by the candidate which, as per the opinion of the observer, has created on impression of unfairness during the examination.

Resorting to unfair means in any manner shall be considered as serious offence. The candidate resorting to such means shall be expelled from the examination hall and his/her candidature will be forfeited. Such candidates will also forfeit all claims for admission in the University in future.
